Crossgate at SAPPHIRE 2008 in Berlin
Starnberg on 19 May 2008
Crossgate is putting its B2B 360° Services for SAP Solutions on display at this year’s European SAP customer and partner conference, SAPPHIRE 2008. Visitors at the event can meet with Crossgate clients such as Argo-Hytos, Nexans Autoelectric, Preh and Volkswagen and exchange experiences.
As the only SAP BPO partner for B2B collaboration and the only operator of the first global Business Ready Network, Crossgate exhibits its Full Service approach at SAPPHIRE 2008 from May 19 to 21 in Berlin. The B2B 360° Services for SAP Solutions hold center stage by providing clients with immediate access to all trading partners integrated in the B2B transaction network from their own SAP system. Crossgate’s services are based on the SAP Netweaver Process Integration (PI) technology and are compliant with SAP strategy. No investment in additional EDI adapters or tools is necessary for electronic data exchange.
Once connected to the Crossgate Network, companies can electronically exchange data with any trading partners using any format. The flat rate price offers customers transparency and planning security. As of now, 40,000 companies are integrated in this B2B transaction network.
Visitors at SAPPHIRE can find Crossgate in the ERP Village at the Knowledge Table (Nr. ER1.15) with the motto “Excellence in Shared Services and BPO”. The Crossgate solution gives answers to the following questions: What opportunities can be found in a network of companies? What are the communication advantages I can achieve when I upgrade my SAP systems? How do I raise the semantic quality of my data communication? How do I solve the handling of customs procedures intelligently? How can I make use of the SAP business process platform in respect to company networks? On all three days, clients Argo-Hytos, Nexans Autoelectric and Preh will be at your service, along with Crossgate management, to engage in informational interviews and networking in great depth. On May 20, Crossgate’s client, Volkswagen, will make an appearance.
For those interested in the new SAP Business ByDesign solution for medium-sized companies, there is another special highlight: SAP is showing a live demo of how easy it is to initiate B2B communication using Business ByDesign through Crossgate. SAP Business ByDesign includes an interface to the Crossgate transaction network and is therefore completely EDI capable without any additional adapter technology.
“Linked to trading partners in one easy step: this is the trademark of the B2B 360°Services for SAP Solutions,” says Uwe Weiss, Chairman of the Board at Crossgate. “As a member of the B2B transaction network of Crossgate, Business ByDesign customers can connect to 40,000 potential trading partners – and this without one single additional integration effort.”
