Crossgate Positioned in “Leaders” Quadrant in 2009 Magic Quadrant for Integration Service Providers.
on 8 December 2009
The world’s leading IT research and advisory company Gartner has included Crossgate in the latest 2009 report “Magic Quadrant for Integration Service Providers”. Crossgate is positioned in the Leaders Quadrant among the vendors in this sector. Crossgate believes this positioning highlights the importance of their global repository of re-usable B2B mappings, e-Invoicing capabilities in 36 countries. Gartner positioned Crossgate in the Leaders Quadrant in the “Magic Quad-rant for Integration Service Providers” published at the end of November. Gartner evaluated both North American and European service providers for this report, seventeen of which made it into the quadrant. The placements were based on a completeness of vision and the ability to execute.
According to the report, ” In the highly evolving integration services market, leaders will have more of the following types of characteristics (among oth-ers):, leaders must have a critical mass of users (community) in selected in-dustries; a comprehensive and compelling service offering vision; a signifi-cant geographic reach (or be likely to establish one); secure, reliable and effi-cient hosted integration service operations; sustained profitability (or likely to establish it); and strong account management and customer loyalty. They must also be regularly on organizations’ shortlists for new B2B projects and be agents of change to the evolving market segment, Provide collaboration and automation tools for community management, demonstrate agile behav-ior by flexibly responding to customers’ evolving commercial and B2B project requirements, substantially diversified vertical industry market share, substan-tial year-to-year integration services revenue and market share growth, a clear commitment to the integration services market and a sufficient differen-tiation to attract new business away from other providers.”1 Crossgate meets all of these requirements.
Crossgate’s Business-Ready Network raises the efficiency and value of IT systems and increases strategic business agility for clients by shortening time for partner enablement, expanding types of automated processes, simplifying change management, and managing global requirements such as e-Invoicing. With Crossgate’s B2B360° Services Powered by SAP, B2B services are em-bedded within SAP applications via a service-oriented architecture (SOA) re-pository. For one simple fixed cost, customers can connect once to Cross-gate’s Business-Ready Network and access more than 40,000 pre-integrated business partner profiles, regardless of transaction type or volume. Instead of providing only generic data standards and toolsets, Crossgate’s managed services approach to EDI includes partner-specific mappings, communica-tions, and processes aligned with ERP application installations and upgrades.
“We take pride in moving the industry forward by focusing on fixed cost solu-tions rather than time and material consulting projects, reusable B2B content rather than point to point mappings, and simplified ERP integration through the use of a service-oriented architecture rather than legacy translators,” said Stefan Tittel, CEO and Founder, Crossgate AG. “Through our innovation and experience with international B2B requirements, regulations, and standards, we are helping global organizations meet their business objectives and react promptly to opportunities in the market to maintain a competitive advantage.”
