Interoute, owner operator of Europe’s largest cloud services platform, today announced it has been highly positioned for its ability to execute in the Leaders quadrant of Gartner’s 2013 Magic Quadrant for European Managed Hosting Providers report, published June 26, 2013.

The Gartner report co-authored by analysts Tiny Haynes, Gregor Petri, Douglas Toombs, Bob Gill, Lydia Leong and Sammi Pine, says, “The most heavily weighted criteria for a managed hoster’s Ability to Execute are its service offerings and service excellence, as reflected in customer experiences with sales, support and operations”.

The report goes on to say, “Leaders that have proved they have staying power in this market, can frequently innovate on their existing products and can be relied on for enterprise-class needs. They have proved their technical competence and ability to deliver services to a wide range of customers. They address multiple use cases with stand-alone or integrated solutions”.

Interoute’s managed hosting and innovative cloud based services have attracted a host of high profile customers, including Deutsche Post and UEFA, who rely on Interoute’s people converged network and computing platforms to support their business applications and host websites such as UEFA.com.

Matthew Finnie, Interoute CTO, commented: “I am delighted that Gartner has recognised Interoute as a leader among European Managed Hosting Providers. We believe our position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant is testament our ability to provide our customers with innovative services, such as Interoute Virtual Data Centre, that heralds a decisive shift toward high levels of flexibility, availability and scale all the while maintaining security and data privacy”.
